About Richard Skorupski
Richard Skorupski spent twenty-one years in U.S. Navy aviation before trading jet fuel and salt air for the quiet fields of South Dakota. After a second career in the pleasure boating business, he and his wife, Cheryl, settled into the calm of Spink County—where Richard discovered the stories he was meant to tell.
He has since written ten novels celebrating the people, values, and quiet strength of rural America. His stories follow ordinary folks facing life’s troubles with faith, heart, and a stubborn determination to see things through.
Richard writes warm, easygoing, hopeful fiction—nice stories about nice people, rooted in the land he now calls home.
